I was just wondering if any of you guys and gals could give me some tips on how to shave and prevent redness, irritation, and bumps. My skin isn’t bad but it’s nothing to gawk at. Anyway I was told if I wanted to I could actually use a hair removal product on my facial hair. Any truth to it? I’m also going on this med called accutane really soon to clear up my face. I know the risks but I’ve went through a lot of other meds and non helped. What do yall think of accutane? Any help/tips would be much appreciated. Thanks!
I had 12 sessions of IPL treatment last year but there were still stubborn hair growth. However, I had my hormone level tests done to find if i had PCOS (polycystic ovaries) but the hormonal levels were all perfectly normal. However, I had to stop the treatment because I had severe acne on my upper back and my face so I had to go on Isotretinoin (Vitamin A derivative tablet used for acne treatment). Therefore, I was not allowed to get any more IPL treatment because medicine makes skin very sensitive to burning.
However, when i started the medicine I helped me with my acne but I caused my facial hair grow back really fast.
So my question is it worth going back to IPL sessions after completing my medicine or not??? Please help
At the moment, I can only remove my facial hair by plucking because I cannot wax because I’m not allowed to introduce any foreign chemicals or heat to my skin. I can either shave or pluck, so I chose plucking at least it won’t give me manly looking face
